What skills are you looking to improve?

I do practice a lot on my own, I just wish I had a training partner in which I can see if the techniques can work.  I tried with a couple of people, but one had a short fuse and another had his own agenda.  I hope to hone my skills so they can develop into better ways of dealing with it on the streets.  I don't want to look like Dinero in Taxi Driver saying, "You talkin to me?"
