There's a crew that does Systema nearby, too.

very cool. theres one school here that teaches it. and its extremeley expensive.

UA: save yourself a little money each month and then take an intensive weekend Seminar, or something similar... you might even be able to get a bunch of you Cali/West Coast guys together for a weekend and get a group rate.

Also, look up SPEAR combat system- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] those guys do seminars throughout the contiguous US.

TKD is a far different art than Krav Maga. A lot of instructors get certified and are not that great instructors in Krav Maga.

This guy could be good, but if his main style is TKD I would think his Krav Maga might be questionable.

His certification is legit though, he is listed on the commando krav maga site. I just get a little iffy with TKD anything.

It's worth checking out. See if you can do a trial class.

Thanks, hombre- yeah, I found him through the CKM site, so I figured it'd be worth checking out, if nothing else. Might check out the local Systema school too.
