So far, I really like the workouts. My diet is the tough part, though. With a workout, you can get it done a couple times a week and feel good about yourself. Controlling what you eat is a 24/7 kind of thing . . . it's a lot harder.

| try to eat less than normal, if you are still hungry later, just eat a little more. stay away from big meals. Eat veggies!!! salt, pepper and spices make everything taste good. i personally love fresh green beans, they taste delicious, so are tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers which are like 50 calories per cup or even less. so you can make a huge salad and not put on a pound. Drink lots of water or tea, if you find water to be too bland. stay away from all other kinds of liquid because they are 120-170 calories per 8oz, thats 240 caloris per can of soda or even a snapple juice is gonna be 250+ calories per bottle. I bought some organic tea the other day and it was still !! 300 calories !! for 20*oz. Juice is great for you but its not good to drink all day long as a staple drink because its just too much calories. I drink about 6 cups of tea a day, that would be around 800 calories just for my liquids, and normally i consume about 1500 calories for my normal food each day, unless im drunk, then im looking at 2500 The picture is a Picture of bill pearl, i figured you would get a laugh. PS go for multiple walks a day. i usually take a 45 minute walk 3 times a day. i think, just like a car, it takes more calories to jump your HR from the 60 BPM at resting to the 90 when your walking. but i could be wrong. | |

| Thanks adamm,
I definitely need more vegetables and for some dumb reason, never thought of the whole spices to make them taste better.
Any kind of tea you'd suggest? I've got a bad coffee habit, and will definitely have to try to go to tea.

| i drink Salada green tea. im not into all those weird varieties of flavored tea, but id say drink what ever taste good to you because tea = 0 calories. or maybe < 1
earl grey is a nice normal tea, black tea has a bit more caffeine in it than others do, but no where the amount as coffee, which gives me jitters if i drink too much. it also makes me puke if i go to the gym after having coffee, which is another reason why i gave it up, i also have to add sugar to make it taste good, calories + puking = no good.
oolong tea is halfway between green and black.
i drink green tea because i hear it is the healthiest and it taste fine to me, but then again, all tea is good for you, unless it is some shitty brand with chemical flavorings.
As for spices, i like curry!! as if u didnt know from reading my training log:D try some green/white/red pepper as in salt and pepper, not the green/yellow/orange/purple peppers, confusing? but the pepper fruit to me is delicious to me as well.
i forgot about portabella mushrooms! basts them with a little bit of oil and toss them on the grill, or the oven and enjoy. i used to substitute hamburgers with portabella mushrooms and they are delicious.
arrgg, ima stop here because i could go on for hours about food.

| I get bored with too much structure.
I've kind of gone to:
- 3 days cardio and strength training/bodyweight exercises - 2 days martial arts/boxing

| your body does not care about your brain's need for interest.
You'll get less pain and have better results if you, consistantly, keep a day between your strength training workouts
