| You can add your skills there in the option of "Other". In addition to the most common ones. I also have another thread in this section with some skills that would be helpful for people in this community. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]But while that's a thread that talks about what skills would be useful - how, and why, this one can get more into detail about your own skills. But, do check out the poll I made because that helps to give better statistics about whose skilled in what areas, while also breeding discussion there too. |

| From reading the thread I'm not sure if the intention is for us to post on a different thread or not. Since I can hardly claim the following list is essential to crime-fighting, I'll post it here. First off the main skills I lack and am developing prior to embarking on my RLSH career: - Parkour running (well) - Powerbocking (well) I'm not sure what to say on my list of skills I currently have, other than maybe to sum it up as "extensive"? It's good to keep that ego in check, eh. But that's only natural having lived my adult life trying very hard to be a real life comic book character. | |

| who are you guys interrogating up there?
just curious because interrogation is different from just asking questions of somebody.

| I would guess they either had some kind of military training in intelligence interrogation or it was included in a law enforcement class they attended or maybe they took the Reid interrogation course... ? Yah. Interrogation is not the same thing as "interviewing" or "debriefing." The approximate legal alternative (for those of us not authorized to detain someone, which is probably all of us) would be "elicitation" or "social engineering." | |

| the only skill i can really think of is my knowledge of wilderness survival. i'm no expert by any means but its been a long time hobby of mine that i have studied extensively.
other then that i will be getting certified in first aid and cpr. i'm also looking into first responder and fire fighter training.

| Well, let me see...
*Self defense (some martial arts and wrestling training. The wrestling would come in handy if someone tries to take me down. I've seen fights won and lost by takedown defense)
*Observation (Was in band and stagecraft in high school. I notice the small things.)
*This isn't really a skill, but connections of all sorts in the area I patrol with my team.
*Creation of makeshift tools and gadgets. (Again, stagecraft.)
*Pain tolerance training
*Logo and mask design
And that is all I can think of at the moment...
EDIT: I'd like to also add that research is one of my fortés also.

Nunchuks are illegal in Canada (I am unaware if they are in the states as well or not) but I have received basic weapon training with escrima sticks. |

| "Nunchuks skills" is a Napoleon Dynamite reference. They're probably illegal to walk around with in the states, too. Plus I don't think they'd be that great for crimefighting, anyway. | |
