What is this dox business and how can I use it? (As requested)

This is the basic principle. Doxing is hacker slang for getting someone's documents or personal information. This is useful for tracking down dirtbags who commit offenses online and employing what we cal LRT (Life Ruining Tactics), or turning them into the fuzz if that's your thing.

The first thing to remember is Facebook and Google are your friends in gaining info on a Tango. Some people are simply oblivious to the amount of personal data they put on the interwebs. Take for instance our GOP friend that said he wanted to "Go Taliban" on people who excercise their protest rights in America. (Stay classy Stevo)

If we want to know stuff about him, simply find his Facebook. From his information tab alone we can find out:

Then we triangulate him using his Friends list. (This will give me a list of his relatives if he was foolish enough to leave it public.) Use the search and put in his last name to get a short list that include his relatives. (The assumption is if they share his last name, they're likely kinfolk.)

From that list I find that his wife's name is Nancy and his son's name is Steven Jr. There's information on at least 6 0r 7 of his relatives, including where his wife works and where his son attends school, but I'll not be a total dick and I'll not put that online. (They did it anyways, but I have no beef with them.)

If we want more information, we take any emails and phone numbers they were foolish enough to list and Google them. You'd be amazed what sort of data you can find that way. Searching the deep web will give you crap tons of information beyond you can find on Google and Facebook. One search engine for the Briny Deep is:

Getting his home address is usually as simply as searching public tax records.
