How do you overcome the fear of patrolling outside and become brave fighting crime? That is the only problem I got

First you do what scares the hell out of you.  You get the courage afterwards.

OR

You simply don't care (as Guest mentioned) about getting beat up or killed.  If you don't care, you have nothing to fear.

What job did you have where guns were routinely pointed at you? And most people care about continuing to live, so having a weapon that can end life trained on them is scary, no matter how coolly they can deal with it. Hollywood movies do not make gunshots seem as scary as they are in real life, and your assessment that one feels like a bee sting, to be brushed aside so casually, is dead wrong. A bullet wound of any size is a trauma. A .22 piercing your brain can still kill you. I really want to know where you got your statistics.

Real Life Batman has been shot so many times he's built up an immunity to bullets.
