Yeah his workout plan is not very helpful in building 6 pack abs, but his form is really excellent. I like to work out without weights because I'm crazy busy and crazy cheap.

Flora, didn't know that about burpees, thanks! I will desist.

And for the record, those staggered pushups are very punishing, I liked it.

On the coffee thing, I drink a lot of coffee. It'd be kind of hard to keep track.


Two tiny little McDonalds breakfast burritos and four hashbrowns equals 1200 calories, by the way. I couldn't believe that.

Oh... also Flora do you have any opinion of protein powders, "meal replacements," and such? I can see this "eat 6 meals" thing is already kind of inconvenient.

If coffee isn't keeping you awake, no prob.

The high calories in the McMeal are mostly fat
and
I argue that protien in meals should not be counted as a calorie becasue it is not burned as a fuel.



The body is ready for food every four hours.
So, 4-5 meals is good unless you are sleep-deprived.
Sleep deprivation is where the sixth meal comes in.

"Smaller Meals" is a lot of drivel.
I can expand on that later.
I gotta go ta wurk



As to protien powder, it's excellent.

When, and with what are the next questions.

Meal replacements have different ingredients that protien powders

I hate protein powder. A nessesary evil when I'm bulking, but periods with to much oats'n'whey (usually in periods I'm working to much to cook, my wife don't cook very well nor healthy) my body seem to hate me.

Here's an interesting exercise. They're called "Ricochets."

(Not the same thing as "ricochet jumps" -- jumping up and down to and from a curb, step, bench, etc)

Here's a write-up:

"Ricochets
This is done in intervals: 2 minutes on, 30 seconds off, Mark a 2 foot wide square on the ground with tape or chalk. Jump from corner to corner as fast as you can, jumping to different corners every time. This exercise is performed for a total of 30 minutes."

I don't like the part where you're supposed to do it for 30 minutes (that seems both difficult and more importantly really boring), but I was thinking maybe one time hitting each corner could count as a rep and it could be used as a lower body/core building plyometric exercise.

I fight the boredom with an audio book
or just go over anatomy while doing.
The more I focus on my form, the better anyway
